The 2025 QuartzFest Distance Challenge is CANCELLED!

The QuartzFest Distance Challenge competition scheduled during this year's QuartzFest has been cancelled. Due to a confluence of circumstances for club members, we found ourselves short of the needed personnel to prepare for and run the event.

The NADXA will still be providing our Emergency Operations Trailer to serve as the 'Official' W7Q event trailer. See our trailer project here!

In 2026 we are planning on doing the QFDC again! There were big and small prizes (and a lot of bragging rights going to the winners) given out to the 4 winners and runners up from sponsors like Heil Sound, Cable X-perts, Alpha Antennas, the DX Store, Comet Antennas, mp antenna, N3FJP Software, Cameleon Antennas, DX Engineering,and Lowell Observatory.

The GRAND CHAMPS IN EACH CLASS will again be presented with our signature event trophy Hard Hat, complete with a solar panel to operate a fan, light and it even has a USB charging port
