ROUTE 66 ON THE AIR

Back in 2000, we organized a new special operating event; Route 66 On the Air! to celebrate the highway's
75th anniversary in 2001. It turned out to be wildly popular and quickly outgrew our small club so administration
was turned over to the current sponsor, the Citrus Belt ARC in California. Route 66 on the Air is still an annual
event and has grown from the original 10 stations to 23 HAM radio clubs and 4 Rovers operating from locations
along the length of Old Route 66 in 2024.

This year we celebrate 25 years of commemorating the "Mother Road" across the air waves!

For details on how to participate and QSL information for all the stations, visit the Citrus Belt ARC info page
OR go to the W6T, W6G, and W6S call sign pages on QRZ.COM

2024 NADXA Plans

The 2024 Edition of the special event will begin on Friday September 6th at 5pm AZ time and will go thru Sunday

Special Event; W6S (Rover 1), W6G (Flagstaff), and W6T (Rover 2) with QSL cards that when lined up make a
panorama of Arizona Route 66.

This year W6S will operate portable from different Old 66 locations East of Flagstaff.

W6T will operate portable along Route 66 approximately 3 miles west of Parks.

W6G will be operating from NADXA
members home QTHs in and around the City of Flagstaff, AZ.
